The New York Center for Vulvovaginal Pain is a group of individual practioners with independant private practices and offices who work collaboratively to help patients with a wide range of lower urogenital tract pain disorders. Howard I. Glazer Ph.D.:

Dr. Glazer is a native of Toronto, Ontario Canada and a graduate of the University of Toronto (1969). He attended graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin and holds a doctorate in Neurophysiology/Clinical Psychology. He is presently a Clinical Associate Professor at Cornell University Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital, is a fellow of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases, and a member of the medical board of the National Vulvodynia Association. Dr. Glazer has over 30 professional journal publications as well as several book chapters and three books, including The Vulvodynia Survival Guide published by New Harbinger Press in 2002. He is recognized as the developer of surface electromyographic assisted pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation for the diagnosis and treatment of vulvovaginal pain disorders.

Dr. Glazer is also a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist specializing in chronic pain management, individual, groups, couples and sex therapy. Dr Glazer has his primary office located in New York City. He frequently conducts training workshops both domestically and internationally. Dr. Glazer's wife, Doreen, is an attorney and heads up the real estate litigation department in a New York City law firm in which she is a senior partner. Howard and Doreen have three lovely daughters, Leslie, Harley and Ashley.
