You will receive an indepth history, and musculoskeletal evaluation. Based on these findings, an individualized treatment program will be created for you. It may include neuromuscular reeducation with biofeedback(Thought Technology, Verimed, or Prometheus), myofascial release, visceral massage, electrical stimulation.
I have received ON-SITE TRAINING WITH DR. hOWARD GLAZER. I have attended numerous seminars with various authorities on pelvic floor and musculoskeletal disorders in the lumbopelvic area including Hermann, Wallace, Barker, Hulme, Shelley, Boissonault, Barnes, etc. I am also a guest lecturer for The University of Cincinnati Physical Theraoy Program on pelvic floor dysfunction. I have lectured localy to Childbirth educators and Doulas on the importance of pelvic floor health.
The Women's Health Division of Sports Therapy, Inc. provides services to women throughout the Tristate area. (Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky) Evening hours are available. Child care is available at some locations. In Ohio, you must have a physician refer you to physical therapy. We accept referrals from your personal physician or can recommend one if you prefer.
